She had a beautiful wedding to the man of her dreams the love of her life. she has a perfect home, a big house with garden in a wonderful neighborhood,drives an expensive car and was adored by her husband and envied by friends. her marriage was the perfect one but tragedy stuck she loss her husband and was accused of killing him by the in-laws. she was taking to the local chief goddess. she was made to shave her hair, she was made to dance nake around the entire community she was beating and she was humiliated stripe of all her dignity.she was raped.she lose all sense of belonging but to cap it all she was made to drink THE BATH WATER OF THE CORPSE OF HER LATE HUSBAND. Tell me for how long will the world turn deaf ear and blind eyes to the pains of widows. how can one drink water for a dead body? it is time to rise up and her widows all around AFRICA and THE REST OF THE WORLD. lets promote GENDER EQUALITY IN OUR SOCIETY TODAY. say no to marginalization
